Lodging: two extra wide mobile homes on level with average motel.
Amenities: walk-in cooler, rifle range
Food: home style, provided and cooked for you.
Baked chicken, Pork roast, Venison spaghetti, Swiss steaks
or similar type meals with all the trimmings.
Other services provided: semi-guided daylight hunts (take you to
blinds, pastures, stock tanks, etc., assist in recovery of game,
bring you back to camp, gut game taken and put in cold storage)
PLUS some fully guided night hunting, safari style.
Game included: 2 feral hogs (wild boar), varmints (unlimited coyotes
and jack rabbits, plus 1 legal furbearer per day by state law).
Other game available: Javelina @ $125 each
extra hogs @ $20 - $100 each, based on size.
Length of basic hunt: 3 days/2 nights, starts after noon on first day
and ends before noon on third. Extra days are available at $250
per person per day. Each extra day includes one more hog.
Dates: Any 3 consecutive days from Feb 11th to September 15, 2005.
Hunt methods allowed: blinds near feed areas, spot and stalk on baited
senderos, wallow watching, shoot from vehicle, limited spotlight.
Restrictions: No ATVs without rear lights and headlights. No
off-road driving except to retrieve game. No littering. No
smoking in ranch vehicles or camp houses. No bait allowed to
be brought onto ranch. Corn is available @ $6.00 bag.
If it is so wet that vehicles leave ruts, walk hunt only allowed.
Bringing a fat tire ATV would be good for this situation.
Pricing: 1 hunter @ $800, 2-4 hunters @ $650 each, 5 to 8 @ $575 ea.
$20 per animal to skin, quarter and put in your ice chest.
$20 per stop to deliver to local taxidermist or meat processor.
$75 per day for nonhunters.
NOTES: When we hunt this ranch for our own pleasure, we bring in game by the the truckload, literally! And the deer watching is awesome!
