This is a couple thousand acres of PRIME Texas' Hill Country. A gorgeous river runs right through the scenic hills and valleys. Access is easy, being just of IH 10. The hunter's cabin is a work in progress, but already beautiful. Conveniences are close by, being only 5 minutes outside of Junction, Texas. AND, best of all, the place is crawling with critters. The native whitetail deer abound. There are also feral hogs, axis deer, blackbuck antelope and rio grande turkey in decent numbers, and a variety of "varmints" (coyote, fox, ringtail, raccoon, opossum, skunk, civet). Package ID# MG-T . This is a trophy whitetail or exotic buck hunt. It is a fully guided hunt; one on one. It is a three day and two night hunt (from the afternoon of the first day, until after the morning hunt on the third day). It includes meals and lodging. You will be allowed to harvest one mature buck during the 3 days, and then, if time permits, you may also take a cull buck of our choice, or a mature dry doe of our choice, or a hog, and any varmints you see. . The base price of this hunt is $995. . When a trophy whitetail buck is harvested, you will owe a harvest fee based on the B&C gross antler score. That fee will be $100 for each inch over 100 inches. That means a buck of 135 inches would be $3500. The $995 base price already paid will be credited toward the harvest fee amount if more than the $995. Exotics are priced on a case by case basis. It is a three day and two night hunt (from the afternoon of the first day, until after the morning hunt on the third day). It includes meals and lodging. You will be allowed to harvest one whitetail buck up to 7 points and 100 gross B&C score, or an exotic buck (don't plan on an exotic) OF MUTUAL CHOICE (guide and hunter agree), during the 3 days, and then, if time permits, you may also take a small cull buck of our choice, or a mature dry doe of our choice, or one hog, and any varmints you see. . Package ID# MG-G5 . This is the meat hunter's special on this ranch. It is a three day and two night hunt (from the afternoon of the first day, until after the morning hunt on the third day). It includes meals and lodging. You will be allowed to harvest the first FIVE animals that show up on our hit list. These will be small cull bucks of our choice, mature dry does of our choice and feral hogs. Plan on most of the animals seen being whitetail deer, but we may see a cull exotic, or feral hogs. If you want a bunch of pigs, this is NOT the ranch you want. They come and go here. You may also take any varmints you see and they don't count against your five allowed animals. . The base price of this hunt is $1295. There are no harvest fees for any or all of the animals included in the package description. 2 hunters may share this package for an added $200; $1495 total covers both hunters. . . |

Package ID# MG-A . This is the archery hunting package on this ranch. During either the special archery only season, or bowhunting only during the regular season, a bowhunter can hunt the whitetail deer of their choice for just $200 a day, plus a harvest fee for any trophy buck. There is a two day and two person minimum to book this hunt. The $400 per person minimum includes use of the lodge, and one whitetail doe OR turkey, PLUS one hog, PLUS one buck up to and including 7 points and up to 100 Gross B&C score. That's three animals total for two full days of hunting; a real bargain, and a heck of a bowhunting trip. Any buck over 7 points, or over 100 GBC will incur a harvest fee on top of the day rates. It will be the greater of $100 per antler point, or $100 per inch over 100 GBC score, again, whichever amount is greater. . |

. Because of the cheap introductory pricing on this ranch, there is a minimum of two hunters required to book a hunt. These may be on different packages, or one person can buy two packages to occur simultaniously. Other than that requirement, we'll work with you anyway we can to suit your needs, just ask. . Nonhunters are welcome at $100 per day. Extra hunting days may be arranged at $350 per day. Extra nights of lodging and meals are $100 each. The hunt schedule may be arranged to suit your needs. It doesn't absolutely have to be from the afternoon of the first day to after the morning hunt on the last day. What do you need? . IF YOU KNOCK DOWN, DRAW HAIR, LET BLOOD OR OTHER BODY FLUID ON ANY ANIMAL, IT WILL BE CONSIDERED HARVESTED, WHETHER THE ANIMAL IS ACTUALLY RECOVERED OR NOT. A blood tracking dog is available if needed. The fee for using this dog is $100 for put down, plus $100 if the animal is recovered. . If a harvest fee is due, based on the guide's judgment, the guide will make their best guess on that fee known to you prior to the shot. That is the fee that will be charged if the animal is then hit but not recovered. . Varmints are; coyote, fox, raccoon, skunk, civet, ringtail and opossum. Bobcat harvest fee is $100 per cat. Turkey harvest fee is $250 per bird. . No littering of any kind. No excessively rowdy behavior allowed. No alcoholic beverages until you are done hunting for the day. . |
