With 2 ranches under different management programs, you can find the deer you want, at the price you want, and hunt from a beautiful country home while you're at it. Now, how can you beat that? . Both ranches are in Schleicher County, Texas, near the town of Eldorado. They consist of gently rolling hills at the west end of the Edwards Plateau. These hills are covered in Live Oaks, Juniper, Yaupon and a variety of other cover and food plants that deer and turkey just love. Agricultural plots, and other supplemental feeding programs, further enhance the game growing abilities of this land. One of the ranches is known to have the highest year around turkey population in the county. It also consistently produces the Big Buck Contest winners for the area. You will see plenty of game, period! .
All hunts include 3 days and 3 nights of great food, luxury lodging and guide service (including local transportation, field care of game, caping of trophy, and temporary cold storage). Buck Hunt Just
$2500 ea
2200 acre highly game managed ranch. Fully guided one on one. Harvest allowed includes; one mature buck of your choice (some 150-165 B&C have been taken and at least 2 more are still there. 130-140 is the average rack from this ranch). You may also take one doe and one hen turkey on your hunt, and any hogs you see may be taken at will (rare). This hunt price requires a group of 4 or 5. Smaller groups would be higher. |

Deer Hunt Just $1800

800 acre private ranch surrounded by BIG ranches. Mostly fully guided at 2 hunters per guide. Includes one mature buck of your choice, plus one doe, one hen turkey and any hogs seen (hogs rare). Average buck taken is 110-125 B&C but bigger boys are definitely present as evidenced by the the 143 taken in 2001. This is an excellent father/son kind of hunt. Price is for a group of four. A pair of hunters would be considered. |
