The Deer Season
This is usually from October 1st until end of January. For just $150 a day, per person, with a 3 day minimum, you can take a feral hog (wild boar) per day, plus 2 javelina a year and all the coyotes you care to shoot. You may also take one mature whitetail buck and one mature doe (This means 4.5 yrs plus for does and 8 or 9 point bucks, and 5.5 yrs plus for 10 pointers and up). If a buck is taken that does not meet these requirements, there will be a $500 management fee assessed! This is to assure that good bucks will be available for years to come. The $150 includes the use of the hunter's cabin and all facilities (bunk beds, a/c, heat/ showers, kitchen, bar-b-q pit, lighted practice range and targets, game cleaning area, etc.) There will also be tripods for your use. Bring your own bedding, food and utensils. . The Off Season This is from mid February through September. For just $75 a day, per person, with a 3 day minimum, you can take feral hogs (wild boar), javelina and varmints as described above. You still get to use the cabin and all facilities. You still must bring the same stuff. . ***NOTE: during the off-season, there is another 7000 acre ranch just down the road that may also be hunted. . |
