We guide for only the best Texas waterfowl hunting outfitters when it comes to goose hunting, duck hunting, teal, sandhill crane, snipe, rail or gallinule. Combo waterfowl hunting, like geese in the a.m. and hog hunts or upland bird hunts in the afternoon are available. Varmint calling would be another possibility.

Our waterfowl hunting ranges in price from a morning only, fully guided duck, goose or sandhill crane trip for $100 per person, to $800 per person with very comfortable accommodations with lots of amenities, cook and maid service, for 2 fully guided morning hunts, 2 afternoon hunts and game cleaning when the hunting is done. Most packages are based on a party of 4, but other arrangements can be made for both smaller and larger parties. One lodge we really like to use can comfortably accommodate up to 30 hunters.

I vividly remember the first time that a really huge flock of snow geese tried to land in the decoy spread with me. About a hundred geese had already landed, and hundreds more hovered while looking for a place to sit. Even more piled in on top of those, forcing the lowest birds even lower. I had one specklebelly that hovered within a few feet of me for what seemed like several minutes, but was probably more like 10 seconds. We couldn't shoot though, until the guide told us to do so. While he waited to get as many geese in good shooting position as possible, I was falling apart! To say I was a nervous wreck was an understatement. In my mind I was screaming, "Call the &*%$#@! SHOT!" My adrenaline was soooo pumped that I was shaking like a leaf in a hurricane. I really didn't know if I should go ahead and shoot, or shit in my pants, or just have the heart attack that was trying to happen. The guide finally did call the shot, but I could barely hear him yell , "Take them geese!" over the thunderous din of the now maybe 2000 honking, barking, grunting and whistling geese around me. Take them geese we did though. Almost 20 birds bit dust in the next few seconds. On my first shot, a big mature snow goose dropped like a stone. The next shot was the end for a mature Ross. On the last shot I popped a huge mature blue. That one still hangs in my living room today, and I am still as addicted to goose hunting now as I was then! Now is about 20 years later and I'm the guide, and I'd like to invite you to get addicted to waterfowl hunting with me. When it works, IT IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
