This is a 600 acre ranch, right on Hondo Creek, 10 miles west of Devine, in Medina County, Texas. If you know anything at all about that area, you know this is about as rich in game as it can get. Turkey, hog and deer numbers are outstanding! . 
. The ranch also offers very nice accommodations, and good meals, prepared by the owner's wife (an award winning cook). The guides are friendly and extremely helpful. .
All hunts include two full days of hunting and two nights of meals and lodging. Extra days are available and priced in the description of each package. All hunts include on ranch transportation, catch and release fishing in Hondo Creek and a couple of small farm ponds, unlimited harvest of coyotes and other varmints (NOT bobcats, badgers or porcupines), and temporary cold storage of any animals taken. Buck hunts are fully guided, 1 hunter per guide, with basic game care included (gut, skin and quarter). All other hunts are semi-guided, with the option of being fully guided. . . We stress MATURE or ADULT animals in several of our packages. This is because we want to be able to show our hunters quality animals in the future as well as now. If you choose not to use the full guide service and shoot an immature animal where a MATURE or ADULT animal is specified, penalties will be imposed and must be paid before leaving the ranch. The underage buck penalty is $800 per year of underage, except that a button buck shot as a DOE is $800 flat. Underage gobbler penalty is $800. . FOR ALL THIS RANCH'S HUNTS .. These are non-smoking facilities. Please do not smoke in any enclosed building, vehicle or blind. Use butt cans provided outside. Absolutely no littering of any kind PLEASE! Do NOT gut any animal in the field. Use the game cleaning facilites provided. Stay in your blind! Walk hunting is only permitted under very specific conditions (spring turkey is one of them). Javelina are NOT permitted to be taken for any reason (trying to build back the herd). . |
